Hickman Bags Third Cleveland Win; Trouble at Winchester

Riley Hickman entered a pair of events in his home-state of Tennessee over the weekend.
The team traveled to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the running of the Rebel 40, which boosted a $3,000 winner's check. Twenty-three entries registered for the event, and Riley started his night by qualifying second in his group during time trials to lock into the third starting spot for the finale. When the feature went green, Hickman would quickly find his way to the front. Unfortunately, while maneuvering through lapped traffic, contact with a slower car would bring his night to an early end.

Earlier in the weekend Riley entered a Steel Head Late Model Weekly Racing Series program at Cleveland Speedway (Cleveland, Tennessee). Hickman locked into the main event via preliminary action before racing to his third victory of the season at 1/3 mile oval.
