Riley Hickman Visits Victory Lane at North Georgia
Riley Hickman Racing visited North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Friday night for a Weekly Racing Series program in the Steel Head Late Model division. Hickman qualified third overall to lock into the main event. During the finale he waged a fierce battle with early leader Ronnie Johnson before assuming the point at Johnson's misfortune. Hickman inherited the lead after Johnson suffered from terminal issues, and lead the remaining laps for the victory. Full results from the event are available at www.NorthGASpeedway.net
Saturday night found the team pitted at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for a $5,000-to-win event with the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series. Unfortunately, the event was nixed by rain just before Hot Laps got underway. As a result, the team headed to Boyd's Speedway just in time to tag the tail of the feature in the Crate Late Model.
