Riley Hickman Travels to Screven for Winter Freeze

Riley Hickman entered the opening round of the 5th Annual Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia).

Thirty-four entries signed in for the event, all chasing the $5,000 top prize. The top six qualifiers were locked into the main event, unfortunately Hickman would fall short of the mark and have to run a b-main. He raced to a seventh place finish in his b-main however, only the top six finishers moved on to the finale as his night would come to an early end. Zachary Yost Racing Photography

The World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series opened their 2015 at the 3/8 mile clay oval on Friday night. The $10,000-to-win program drew a field of thirty-two Super Late Models, and via time trials Riley locked into the sixth starting spot for his heat race. Unfortunately, terminal issues during his heat race would bring Hickman's night to an early end and force the team to scratch from the remainder of the weekend.
