Hickman Places 4th With Chevy Series at Boyd's

Riley Hickman was one of 22 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series entries signed in at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday evening kicking off the Labor Day weekend. Timing in third fastest overall in qualifying, Hickman earned the 3rd-starting position for the opening night feature. Losing one spot in the 51-lap affair, Riley notched a 4th place finish behind Michael Page, Jake Knowles, and Ronnie Johnson with Cruz Skinner coming in 5th.

The following night at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) in a field of 23 525 Late Models, Riley posted the 22nd fastest time in qualifying locking his spot into the feature. Slated to start the $2,000-to-win A-Main in 22nd, Hickman failed to make it out for the 30-lapper.

In the Super Late Model ranks, Hickman scored a 5th place finish in the 30-lap feature trailing Zach Leonhardi, Clint Smith, Jason Croft, and Austin Smith across the finish line.

On Sunday night Riley hopped behind the wheel of this Super Late Model for the $3,000 top prize at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia). After coming in second fastest in qualifying behind Tyler Millwood, Hickman was an early retiree from the 40-lap feature.
