Riley Hickman Attends Bubba Army Winter Nationals at BRP

Thursday brought Riley Hickman to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) for the opening night of the NeSmith RockAuto.com Winter Shootout sanctioned Bubba Army Winter Nationals. In a field of 51 Crate Late Models, Hickman recorded the 7th fastest time in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the opening night feature, Riley captured a 12-lap consolation victory locking him into the 14th-starting position. With $2,000 on the line, Riley Hickman slipped back to a 19th place outing in the 40-lap affair.

The following night, Hickman laid down the second fastest time in his qualifying group positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Falling short of a Top-10 finish, Riley dropped back to a 19th place finish.

Wrapping up the Bubba Army Winter Nationals on Saturday, Hickman came up one position short of locking his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group. Transferring into the B-Main for one final shot at the Chevrolet Performance World Championship, Riley fell back to a 11th place outing bringing an early end to his weekend.
