Riley Hickman attends Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track

Saturday night saw Riley Hickman return to action at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the 30th annual Ice Bowl. Drawing 49 Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series entries for the two-day event, Riley timed in third fastest in his qualifying group before placing fifth in his heat. (Josh James Artwork)

Transferring into the B-Main on Sunday for another shot at the main event, Hickman streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory, which positioned him 17th on the starting grid for the show. With $3,000 on the line, Riley was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 40.
