Runner-up showing in 2023 season opener at 411

Riley Hickman lifted the lid on his 2023 season on Saturday with a visit to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) where he steered to a top-five finish.

Taking the green flag in fifth in the feature via his qualifying effort, Hickman jumped up three spots in the 20-lap affair to place second. He finished 1.302 seconds behind Jed Emert with Terry Poore rounding out the podium.
